Videoslots appoints Klas Winberg as CCO

Online casino operator Videoslots has announced the appointment of Klas Winberg as its CCO. Winberg brings more than two decades of experience in the iGaming sector, with a professional history that includes roles at firms such as Betfair, Catena, Raketech and Expekt.

In his previous position as CEO of Play North, Winberg played a role in the company's growth, overseeing expansion, implementing departmental structures and leading initiatives in brand development. This appointment follows closely with the announcement of Anna Komemi as COO at Videoslots.

This announcement follows Videoslots' recent partnerships, including one with Games Global and Mr Vegas Games Global is set to provide live casino content to the Mr. Vegas online casino platform through its studio, OnAir Entertainment. The collaboration expands the range of gaming options for players.

In December 2023, the Swedish Gambling Authority granted a five-year extension to Videoslots but imposed a SEK 9m ($810,000) penalty due to anti-money laundering (AML) protocol failures. This decision follows a £2m ($2.5m) settlement with the UK's Gambling Commission in June 2023 for lapses in social responsibility and AML compliance.
